Shippee

Shippee is a historic, unincorporated community in Red Willow County, Nebraska, named for local landowner Leonard Shippee. A post office operated at Shippee from 1913 to 1933, after which the community's mail service was discontinued.

Unlike the county's five incorporated towns, Shippee has no current population figures, ZIP code, or municipal government — it survives today primarily as a historic place name on the map, a reminder of the many small rural post-office communities that once dotted Red Willow County's countryside.
