Woodland Hills Golf Course, an 18-hole, par-71 public course designed by Jeff Brauer, opened about 1990, and homes were built around it in the Woodland Hills Golf Club subdivision, with private roads, water and sewer. The Census Bureau counts it as a census-designated place: 232 people in 95 homes in 2020. Most of it is in the Waverly school district and part in Palmyra's.
