Adams' Community Celebrations
The village of Adams comes together twice each year for two long-running community traditions: an Independence Day celebration in early July, and Adams Community Days each August. Both are volunteer-organized, small-town events that draw current and former residents back to town.
Adams Community Days
Adams Community Days is a multi-day celebration held each August, organized by the ADAMS Community Foundation. First held around 1967, it's one of the longer-running small-town festivals in Gage County. Typical activities include a golf tournament, a tractor pull, and other community events spread across the weekend.
Location: Around Adams' Main Street and village park.
When: Annually in August.
Independence Day Celebration
Adams holds its Independence Day celebration on the first Saturday of July each year, featuring volleyball and softball tournaments, a community barbecue, and fireworks in the evening.
