Walthill Public Schools

Walthill Public Schools is the school district for Walthill and the country around it, in Thurston County. The district office is at 602 Main St. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 1 at Wakefield, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
