Uptown Hair Design & Boutique is a hair salon and shop in Atkinson, Holt County. The salon side does cuts, color, perms and styling; the boutique side carries clothing and gifts, so an appointment can be combined with a browse. Atkinson is a US Highway 20 town in western Holt County, on the edge of the Sandhills between O'Neill and Stuart, with a working mill pond and park at its center. The salon draws from Atkinson, Stuart, Emmet and the ranch country south into the Sandhills.
