Two Rivers Public Health Department

Two Rivers Public Health Department is the local public health department for Buffalo, Dawson, Franklin, Gosper, Harlan, Kearney and Phelps counties, from 701 4th Ave in Holdrege. Nebraska local health departments handle the public health work no single town could staff: immunization clinics, WIC, communicable disease investigation, restaurant and pool inspection, emergency preparedness, tobacco and substance prevention, and health education. There are twenty of them covering the whole state, and each is governed by a board drawn from the counties it serves.
