The Hideout Bar & Grill

Rising City’s bar and grill, on Main Street in the middle of the village. The room has carried several names over the years — Hinkle’s Pub, then The Wetlands Bar & Grill, and now The Hideout — while the address and the phone number have stayed put. It is the standard small-town combination: burgers and fried food from a short kitchen menu, cold beer, and a bar that doubles as the village meeting place. Travellers on Highway 92 through Butler County use it as a lunch stop.
