Thayer Central Community Schools

Thayer Central Community Schools is the public school district for Hebron, Belvidere, Gilead, Byron, Chester and Hubbell, in Thayer County. Two other districts also serve the county: Bruning-Davenport and Deshler. Nebraska school districts are run by an elected board and funded by local property tax and state aid. The district is the place to ask about enrollment, school calendars, activities and board meetings.
