Tekamah-Herman Community Schools

Tekamah-Herman Community Schools serves Tekamah and Herman and the country between them, in Burt County. The district office is at 112 N 13th St. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 2 at Fremont, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
