Southeast District Health Department

Southeast District Health Department is the public health department covering Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee and Richardson counties, from 2511 Schneider Ave in Auburn. Nebraska local health departments handle the public health work no single town could staff: immunization clinics, WIC, communicable disease investigation, restaurant and pool inspection, emergency preparedness, tobacco and substance prevention, and health education. There are twenty of them covering the whole state, and each is governed by a board drawn from the counties it serves.
