Sheffer Pioneer Cemetery — Greenwood

Sheffer Pioneer Cemetery is one of the oldest burial grounds in Cass County, named for William Sheffer, an early settler. About seventy-five graves are recorded.

It lies halfway between Greenwood and Ashland. From Highway 6 turn north on 226th Street, cross the railway and go about a mile to Country Club Road; the cemetery is at the end of a minimum-maintenance road, beyond a private farmhouse.
