Seneca Cemetery serves Seneca, on Highway 2 in the west of Thomas County. The way to it is recorded as half a mile north off the highway into Seneca, three blocks west, then south a quarter of a mile.
Seneca is the reference point for country well beyond the county — two cemeteries in southern Cherry County, Jimtown and Long, are recorded as six and twenty miles north of here, and both are listed under Cherry.
Around 611 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
For burial records or plot enquiries, contact the Village of Seneca, or the Thomas County Clerk in Thedford. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
