Rock County Public Schools

Rock County Public Schools serves Rock County, its towns and the ranch country between them. The district office is at East Hwy 20. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 17 at Ainsworth, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
