Prospect Hill Cemetery — Elkhorn

Prospect Hill Cemetery lies north of Elkhorn, in the west of Douglas County. It is the larger of the two burial grounds in the Elkhorn area.

It is a different ground from the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Omaha, at the other end of the same county, and anyone searching for a family name should check both.

Around 4,667 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the cemetery office, or the Douglas County Clerk in Omaha. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
