Omaha Public Schools

Omaha Public Schools is the school district for Omaha and the country around it, in Douglas County. The district office is at 3215 Cuming St. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 19 at Omaha, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
