Mount Auburn Cemetery lies in the south-west of Douglas County, out beyond the edge of Omaha.
Ninety-eight per cent of the graves here have been photographed and ninety-six per cent carry a map position, so it is one of the better recorded grounds in the county.
Around 1,453 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
For burial records or plot enquiries, contact the cemetery office, or the Douglas County Clerk in Omaha. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
