Moulton Cemetery lies in western Loup County, about fifteen miles west of Taylor on Highway 91. The turnoff is roughly five miles west of Almeria on the north side of the road and is marked by a sign; West End Road runs west of the cemetery.
Local accounts say the land was donated by Thomas Lewis, who had several infants buried there, though the cemetery records give William Vinnedge as the original owner of the property and Thomas Lewis as the first person buried in it. His marker carries no dates.
Around 247 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
For burial records or plot enquiries, contact the Village of Taylor, or the Loup County Clerk in Taylor. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
