Mills Hardware, Feed and Lumber at 103 East Arnold Avenue in Arnold does three jobs at once, and the name is not an exaggeration. Terry and Dena Mills founded it in October 1996. The hardware side runs tools, plumbing, electrical, fasteners in grade 5 and 8, and garden tools; the feed side carries Purina and ADM feed for cattle, horses, chickens and rabbits plus Diamond pet food and stock tanks; the lumber side carries lumber, creosote, fence posts, sheet metal, shingles and building products. It also runs a seasonal greenhouse, a lawn spraying business, key cutting, lock rekeying, Milwaukee tool repair and UPS drop-off, and serves roughly a sixty-mile radius. Phone 308-848-2515.
