Merriman Cemetery lies on the south-west edge of Merriman, in Section 18 of Township 34, Range 37. Its formal name is Merriman Memorial Cemetery and older records use that; it is one cemetery, not two. It holds the largest number of families of any burial ground in the west of the county.
The village's Catholic cemetery, Saint Elizabeth, stands about half a mile away and is a separate ground with separate records. Search both.
Around 192 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.
