Mal’s Bar & Grill

The village bar on Main Street in Unadilla, describing itself as a home away from home. The kitchen makes a point of its burgers — the best on this side of the Nemaha River, by their own claim — alongside appetisers such as Cajun shrimp deviled eggs, and the bar mixes scratch margaritas rather than pouring from a machine. It runs an unusually full calendar for a village this size: cornhole tournaments, bingo nights, trivia and a Groundhog Day celebration that draws people in from across Otoe County.
