Lincoln Public Schools

Lincoln Public Schools is the public school district covering Lincoln and the country around it, in Lancaster County. The district office is at PO Box 82889. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 18 at Lincoln, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
