Lancaster County Rural Transit

Lancaster County Public Rural Transit covers the whole county along with Adams, Ceresco, Cortland, Eagle and Greenwood, and there is one rule that catches people out: a journey must begin or end outside the Lincoln city limits, because trips wholly inside Lincoln belong to the city's own bus network. Each boarding costs two dollars, and drivers sell a punch card of ten rides for twenty. Vehicles run weekdays from half past seven in the morning until half past four. Reservations can be made up to four weeks ahead but no later than the day before travel, and passengers are asked to be ready a quarter of an hour before the quoted time. Children of twelve and under must travel with an adult, and anyone under eighteen has to be booked by a parent or guardian.
