James Rave Cemetery is north-west of Winnebago, in Thurston County, and is under tribal jurisdiction. Three acres were set aside for the Rave family and their descendants, and about a hundred and forty graves are recorded. It was given its present name in 2002; earlier records call it Meseal Cemetery, the Native American Church Cemetery, or the Peyote Cemetery. It is looked after by Winnebago Wake and Burial, formed in 1975, and is in fair condition.
