Hyde Memorial Observatory, owned and operated by Lincoln Parks & Recreation, is open to the public every Saturday night, weather permitting, with no admission fee and no reservation needed for casual visits. Group presentations and telescope viewings can be scheduled in advance through Pioneers Park Nature Center.

Hours: Open every Saturday night except major holidays or extreme weather. March 15-August 31: opens at sundown. September: opens at 8 PM. October 1-March 14: opens at 7 PM.
