Hunters Grove Cemetery — Wayne

Hunters Grove Cemetery lies about four and a quarter miles south-east of Wayne, in Wayne County, Nebraska.

The ground was a timber tract homesteaded by the Hunter family and later lived on by George and Rebecca Scott, and it was a popular gathering place through the eighteen hundreds. Two burials are recorded. What stands there now is a single tall marker carrying both names, inside an old wire fence.

It is on private property, so a visit needs permission from the landowner rather than a drive up the lane.
