Hooker County Emergency Management

Hooker County Emergency Management is the emergency management agency for Hooker County, at 303 NE-97 in Mullen. Mail can be sent to PO Box 184, Mullen NE 69152. County emergency management plans for and coordinates the response to floods, tornadoes, blizzards, wildfires, hazardous material spills and other emergencies. The office runs the local emergency operations center, issues public warnings, works with fire departments, law enforcement and rescue squads, keeps the county emergency operations plan current, and handles damage assessment and disaster assistance after an event.
