Hermann Sohne Cemetery stands at Altona, in Wayne County, Nebraska.
It was the burial ground of the Order of Hermann Sons, founded in 1840 by German-American citizens to keep their heritage alive. The order fell away after the First World War and the last burial here was in 1936. Eleven burials are recorded; five or six headstones are still visible, though the size of the ground suggests more lie there unmarked.
It has long been abandoned, and a neighbour mows it a couple of times a summer.
