Hayes County Emergency Management

Hayes County Emergency Management is the emergency management agency for Hayes County, at 502 Troth St in Hayes Center. Mail can be sent to PO Box 370, Hayes Center NE 69032. County emergency management plans for and coordinates the response to floods, tornadoes, blizzards, wildfires, hazardous material spills and other emergencies. The office runs the local emergency operations center, issues public warnings, works with fire departments, law enforcement and rescue squads, keeps the county emergency operations plan current, and handles damage assessment and disaster assistance after an event.
