Fair View Cemetery — Rushville

Fair View Cemetery serves Rushville, the Sheridan County seat, on Highway 20. It appears in the county's own records as Fairview, one word, and both spellings are needed for record searches.

Saint Marys Cemetery, the Catholic burial ground at Rushville, stands about half a mile away and is a separate cemetery with separate records. Search both.

Around 2,837 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the City of Rushville, or the Sheridan County Clerk in Rushville. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
