Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is near Ashland, in Cass County, Nebraska, just off Interstate 80 between Omaha and Lincoln. Opened in 1991 on 673 acres, it is one of Nebraska's most-visited state parks, featuring a lodge, an aquatic center, camping, fishing, horseback trail rides, and an observation tower over the Platte River Valley.
