Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is Nebraska's most popular and fully-featured state park, located along the Platte River valley between Omaha and Lincoln. The park offers hiking and biking trails, an outdoor aquatic center, miniature golf, paddle boats, horseback riding, a climbing wall, and archery. Overnight accommodations include modern cabins, campsites, and the Peter Kiewit Lodge. A 70-foot observation tower overlooks the Platte River valley. The park is open year-round. A Nebraska State Park Entry Permit is required.
