Elwood Public Schools

Elwood Public Schools is the public school district covering Elwood and the country around it, in Gosper County. The district office is at 502 First Ave. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 11 at Holdrege, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
