Cozad Community Schools

Cozad Community Schools is the public school district serving Cozad and the country around it, in Dawson County. The district office is at 1710 Meridian Ave. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 10 at Kearney, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
