Clarkson Czech Days is held over the last weekend in June and reached its 64th in 2026. It hosts the Nebraska State Czech Queen Pageant, which makes it a statewide Czech event rather than only a local one. Czech dinners of roast pork, dumplings, sauerkraut, horn rolls and strudel are served at two different churches on consecutive days, Presbyterian on the Saturday and Catholic on the Sunday, which reflects how the Czech settlement here split denominationally. The weekend also carries the Children’s Beseda Dancers, the Clarkson Community Polka Band, open accordion jams, a Sunday Polka Mass, a kolace eating contest, a classic car show, Pivo Fest and a Tarok tournament with a beginners clinic at the library, Tarok being a Central European card game the immigrants brought with them.
