Centura Public Schools

Centura Public Schools is the school district for Cairo and the country around it, in Howard County. The district office is at 201 N Hwy 11. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 10 at Kearney, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
