Buffalo County R.Y.D.E. Transit

R.Y.D.E. stands for Reach Your Destination Easily, and the Kearney dispatch office is the hub of a network that Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska runs across seven counties: Buffalo, Adams, Dawson, Franklin, Hamilton, Kearney and Gosper. Alongside the on-request local service it runs a corridor route between Lexington and North Platte calling at Cozad, Gothenburg, Brady and Maxwell, with a weekly Tuesday working through to Eustis. Anyone may use it; there is no age or disability test. Allow a day's notice, and expect to be ready fifteen minutes either side of the time dispatch gives you.
