Buffalo Bill Ranch State Recreation Area is in North Platte, in Lincoln County, Nebraska, along the North Platte River. It offers camping, fishing, five miles of hiking trails, and guided trail rides and kayak rentals, and adjoins the separate Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park, which preserves Buffalo Bill Cody's ranch house and barn.
