Brittin Cemetery — Elkhorn

Brittin Cemetery lies south of Elkhorn, in the west of Douglas County.

It is also recorded as Elkhorn Cemetery and as Spring Grove Cemetery, and it is the ground the state gazetteer lists as Elkhorn Cemetery. A family record may name it under any of the three.

Around 683 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the cemetery office, or the Douglas County Clerk in Omaha. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
