Bauermeister Disk Sharpening has closed. From 1969, Jerry Bauermeister sharpened disk blades with a roller out on the farm rather than in a shop, travelling across the Midwest to reach the work, from a base at Belden in Cedar County. He died in March 2023 and the business did not continue. Cards for it are still in circulation locally, so enquiries may still come in.
