Banner County Emergency Management

Banner County is served by the emergency management office at 1825 10th St in Gering (Region 22), which also covers Scotts Bluff County. County emergency management plans for and coordinates the response to floods, tornadoes, blizzards, wildfires, hazardous material spills and other emergencies. The office runs the local emergency operations center, issues public warnings, works with fire departments, law enforcement and rescue squads, keeps the county emergency operations plan current, and handles damage assessment and disaster assistance after an event.
