Amity Cemetery — Gordon

Amity Cemetery lies west of Gordon, in the south-west quarter of Section 30, Township 33, Range 43. The ground was set aside as part of the Amity Methodist Episcopal Church grounds — but the church itself was never built, and only the cemetery came of it.

Around 72 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot enquiries, contact the City of Gordon, or the Sheridan County Clerk in Rushville. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
