Alma Public Schools

Alma Public Schools is the school district for Alma and the country around it, in Harlan County. The district office is at PO Box 170. Nebraska school districts are run by a board elected locally, and the district is the body that hires the teachers, runs the buses and sets the calendar for every school under it. It belongs to Educational Service Unit 11 at Holdrege, which supplies special education staff, technology support, training and shared services that a single district could not carry alone.
