Abold Family Cemetery — Rushville

Abold Family Cemetery lies in the north of Sheridan County, out in the country well north of Rushville.

The name suggests a family plot, but it is not one — around 44 memorials have been recorded here, which is far more than one family, and it served the neighborhood around it. That figure is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the City of Rushville, or the Sheridan County Clerk in Rushville. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
