History
Letan was a station on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. Letan Cemetery, established in 1890, is about 6 miles south of Alliance near mile marker 103 on US 385, a quarter mile east on Wayne Road; it has ten gravestones and about 35 recorded burials.
