Polk County Fair
Osceola — Early to mid-July. A county fair featuring livestock shows, 4-H programs, live entertainment, a parade, and a co-ed volleyball tournament.
Stromsburg Swedish Midsommar Festival
Stromsburg — Third full weekend in June. Stromsburg calls itself the "Swede Capital of Nebraska," and this festival, running more than 65 years, features a parade, a Swedish smörgåsbord, Viking reenactments, carnival rides, and entertainment on the downtown square.
