The City of O'Neill Community Center in O'Neill, Nebraska serves as a gathering place for the Holt County community, hosting events, meetings, and recreational activities for residents and visitors.
The community center stands beside Carney Park on South 4th Street. Its marquee greets visitors with “Nebraska’s Irish Capital” — O’Neill was founded by General John O’Neill and his Irish colonists in 1874, and the shamrock appears on the sidewalks, the street signs and the building plaques throughout the town.
