West Point Fourth of July Celebration

West Point's Fourth of July celebration is held each July 4 at Neligh Park and organized by the West Point Chamber of Commerce. The day includes a fun run, coed volleyball, a Knights of Columbus barbecue and inflatables, followed by a fireworks show the chamber bills as the area's largest.

The 2026 celebration marked the 50th anniversary of the fireworks show and included a Quilts of Valor presentation at Veterans Park.
