The Heritage Museum is a small local history museum in a restored frame building in Battle Creek, Nebraska. Its door is still lettered for Dr. Edward Tanner, M.D.
It sits on a history walk: a brick path lined with signs about Battle Creek’s early history, a large bell, a teepee and flags. The walk is marked as an official WonderNebraska site. The Skala Timber House and its Nebraska State Historical Society marker are next door.
It is part of Battle Creek Heritage Park.
