Troester Waterfowl Production Area, 320 acres 1.5 miles S and 3.5 miles E of I-80 Exit 332, is a Rainwater Basin wetland managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service from its office at Funk, (308) 216-3695. It is open sunrise to sunset all year for hunting (nontoxic shot only) and wildlife watching.
