The Nelson Cemetery Walk, at the northeast edge of Nelson, is an elevated poured-concrete walkway about 4 feet wide and 1,235 feet long, with pipe railings on both sides, that crosses a ravine to the city cemetery; in places it stands about 50 feet above the ravine floor. It was completed in November 1912 after fundraising by the P.E.O. Sisterhood, built by contractor J. B. Goodrich to a design by surveyor A. W. McReynolds. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
