Hebron's giant porch swing hangs in Roosevelt Park at 5th Street and Jefferson Avenue in Hebron. The town's Fourth of July committee planned it in 1984; volunteers built the 32-foot wooden seat in 1985, and an engineer from Reinke Manufacturing adapted a section of center-pivot irrigation frame to hold it. It was moved to Roosevelt Park in 1991 and roofed about 2015. It seats about 18 adults or 24 children, and in 2016 the governor proclaimed Hebron "Nebraska's Porch Swing Capital." Free.
